the village right at the edge of shorfat al nakhar housed about 15 families and has been left 30 years ago. the people grew olives, crop, vegetables, christ thorn and others, bred goats and donkeys. it is located at the end of the grand canyon trail and is defintely worth a visit. the view is outstanding and to see how oman's mountain people lived under such difficult circumstances only a few years ago is exciting.
